Over the course of many years, people have seen the importance of learning foreign languages and most recently, several researches have found out that children at a younger age, if exposed to another language aside form the native tongue, will most likely to learn that new language fast.

Many linguists have studied the way children learn languages and it is believed that since children are still very receptive to new things introduced to them, teaching them foreign languages while they are still young is very helpful.

If you are a parent and you want your children to learn languages, how are you going to go about that if your family speaks only one language? What if there are no available language programs for young children in your area? How are you going to encourage language learning for your kids?

One of the most viable ways for your children to be exposed to foreign languages is through language tapes and CDs! There are many language learning tapes and CDs for children available in the market today and you might want to take a look at some of them!

Baby’s First Words in Spanish – created by language experts, this package consists of a 60 minute CD of soothing and sweet songs, words, stories, and rhymes; a parents’ guide that gives details on how to teach young children languages; and a lyric sheet for parents to sing along with their children to the songs in the CD. Baby’s First Words introduces the sounds of the Spanish language to young children who are more receptive to things they hear compared to adults.

Bertlitz Start-Up Italian – learning Italian will be easy for children once they get hold of this musical language program! Children will be able to develop their Italian language skills through rock, hip-hop, and pop music. This program’s cool music will make it easy for young children to master basic Italian and it reinforces language studies.

Teach Me English – this English language learning program developed by Judy Mahoney is just the right one for beginners. The programs teaches children useful every day words such as colors, family members, numbers, greetings, days of the week, body parts, and a whole lot more! The CD is accompanied with an illustrated book that is suitable for coloring and it has translations, learning activities, and song lyrics.

Baby Berlitz Baby Talk & Tunes Spanish – this Spanish language primer for babies follows the baby’s day from morning until night while it teaches languages. The original music in the CD has upbeat sing-along songs and soft lullabies.

Teach Me French – another creation by Judy Mahoney, this French language program for young children is a fun and engaging program that teaches simple French vocabulary and every day words. Native French speakers and professional musicians worked together to make this CD great for young French language learners. It comes with an illustrated book that has translations, lyrics, learning activities, and more.

Those mentioned language learning audio CDs are just few of the hundreds available in the market today. If you want your children to start learning languages while they are still young, better prepare them with audio CDs and tapes so that they will grow up with an interest for languages!

Let’s face it, everything in the world today seems to be fast paced and every day most of us do tasks simultaneously in order to for everything into our tight schedules. For people who are interested in learning languages, it is essential that we have time to learn them! However, if we don’t have much time to spend on language courses in language schools, how could we supplement our interest in a language?

One of the best solutions to help us learn languages not in a grand scale is to learn through audio language tools. Language tapes, CDs, podcasts, radio shows, and other audio supplements are very helpful in letting language learners become familiar with a language by heightening the listening skills.

Focusing on listening for learning languages has already been proven effective by some language learners yet there are some who think it is not effective at all unless there is some speaking involved. It is true that in order to become fluent in a language, all the four language skills such as listening, speaking, reading, and writing should be developed. However, in order to become familiar with a language, familiarity with how the language sounds is essential so you will know what you are dealing with.

Why are audio language tools helpful for learning languages? The answer is simple: most audio language learning tools are PORTABLE – they can be taken anywhere and can be accessed to almost anytime! Audio materials can be taken anywhere with you and you can play them anytime you have free time to brush up on your language skills. You can listen to a language learning podcast on your iPod or audio player while you are doing your laundry or taking a jog in the park. You can also try playing language CDs while driving your car – you will be making traffic time productive for language learning!

Audio language learning tools can even be used while you are relaxing and on the verge of sleep. If you are learning Spanish, try listening to your audio material before you go to bed and you might absorb the language without much effort into your subconscious.

The only thing with audio language tools is that you should not solely rely on them to become fluent in your target language. They are good for supplementary learning but if you really want to become totally fluent, once you are familiar with the sounds of the language, you have to learn how to speak, read, and write the language too!

If you want to improve your knowledge of your target language, better get yourself audio language learning tools and start learning your target language now!

<img src="http://i41.tinypic.com/2meejh4.jpg" alt="Other Options for Learning Language" title="Other Options for Learning Language" / style="float:right;margin:3px"/>Everything in the world is about language and communication in whatever domain; business, politics, foreign affairs, advertising, education, etc. The foundation of it all is in the application of language. If you can comprehend how languages influence perception and behavior it is easy to deal with the normal day-to-day affairs. Above all, learning the English language is the most important. Even though English is a universal speech not everyone can speak it, especially the people in some countries of Latin America and in Asia. This is why education plays a major role for acquiring knowledge and achieving English proficiency. Many schools however do not uphold standard and quality for their institution. School administrations must ensure that the curriculums offered in schools are complete and solid with standards.

However, what adds to the problem of education in addition to the language being used is the system of education itself. Students need to learn thoroughly the languages they are studying instead of merely rushing their time for tests and assignments. Teachers on the other hand need to slow down. The best way to teach students is not by hastening classes and progress but to ensure that the students were able to absorb the subject. It is not enough to learn foreign language by language tapes where you can hear the exact pronunciation of the foreign word and how it is applied. Another tool must help people who cannot speak and communicate English effectively. If you are solely relying on your computer you can customize your computer’s settings and install language freeware and software for its better utilization. There are many references for learning languages that add to language tapes. The important thing is to make sure that what you are learning will engage collaboration and absorption. On the other hand, teachers must be more knowledgeable in recognizing the learning stages of their students including issues brought about by culture and environment.

In general, the study of language can best be applied in communication by heightening learning development through the use of communication/language tools. Students can learn and develop language skills in different degrees for different objectives.

Language learning is great fun and can open your eyes to a whole host of new cultures and experiences! Here we explore exactly how learning a language can change your life:

Professionally
Having made the effort to demonstrate you want to learn a language shows you have appreciation for cultures around you and so are certainly not inward. It also shows you have the capability to learn because a new language is not likely to be something you have done since an early age and so to potential employees, this is very positive – if you can learn a whole new language you definately should be capable of learning the new job! Even if your future work doesn’t involve language use, the associated skills and traits (such as comprehension, patience, dedication) associated with language learning will more than help you in your application! Want to know the extent? Think about one of the toughest, most cutting edge places to get a job – London. Take the opportunity to see this city (everyone has to at least once in their lives!) – you can stay in a hostel in London, the trip needn’t be expensive – and have a look at the local press, the jobs being advertised…you’ll see the quality they demand is high! Yes the pay really is second to none but for you to see any benefit of it, you must have the relevant skills. And being London, with its international connections, language learning is a great place to start! Bear in mind if you already are native of a non-English language, you can always learn your English on a course once in London (or in fact any other British destination – many Spanish people choose Cursos de ingles Irlanda fopr example) whilst German people tend to prefer destinations even further a filed like Canada or the USA and so may end up taking an English course in Toronto for instance). However you choose to learn the languages, be sure that future potential employees can only see it a a plus for you.

Personally
Learning is a very healthy activity, your mind is stimulated and you are in no way wasting your time – you are building to success! Learning a language is something in which you will see the success waves ripple through all aspects of life and your personal social situation will be one which sees some of the greatest effects. For example, you can make more friends, meet new and interesting people and learn about foreign culture from natives (much more interesting than reading about different customs in books from your local libary!). And take advantage of holiday offers too! Somewhere as far a field as Brazil might be a bit nerve-wracking should you being going alone but should you have your Portuguese language skills to back you up, you will have do doubt in taking advantage of that oferta viaje Natal or using Spanish, stay in some of those really trendy Buenos Aires apartments, all the while being able to chat and make friends with the locals!

In summary, language learning really does enrich your life in every way – so get researching exactly what you want to learn and where you want to go today!

<img src="http://i44.servimg.com/u/f44/11/74/66/71/learn_10.jpg" alt="A relaxing manner to learn a language" title="A relaxing manner to learn a language" / style="float:left;margin:3px"/>Most History classes are boring. Students usually fall asleep in class as the teachers narrated the events in History. But History narrated through recorded tapes is quite different. The recording was done with such good taste that we now see History in a different light. We are now able to smile and relate with History’s events. These kinds of tapes are very common in United States and Canada. It is the same with learning a new language through language tapes. Language tapes in Birmingham Central Library are of various kinds of languages. They have language tapes on languages such Chinese, French, German, Dutch and others. A total of fifty seven different languages with language tapes are available in Birmingham Central Library. Language tapes are accompanied by a book that you could read along with the voice in a tape. Be sure to choose the tape that matches your level of learning. If you are still a beginner in learning a new language of course your common sense will tell you to choose for beginner’s language tapes. There are also language tapes for those who know the new language fairly and just wanted to master the language. Language tapes or audio books as referred by some are the most relaxing way to learn new languages. Different languages are learned in a relaxing manner with out the pressure of a classroom setting. You can even carry these language tapes with you as you travel abroad. If you decided to learn the French language perhaps you should buy a French language tape and book a flight to french speaking countries such as France, Haiti and Canada. If you wanted to learn a language without the anxiety of being corrected in front of a class then get hold of language tapes. You can play the tapes and do something while listening to it. You can play the tapes inside the car while driving. You can listen to these tapes if you have a small and handy player with an earphone while shopping in Bijoux Terner in Paris, France. You can also play the language tapes while dining in a comfortable French restaurant like Caffe del Arte. in Paris. So, in this way you try to just be familiar with the sound of the new language. As you go home to your hotel like in Paris Hotel the most visited hotel in Paris try again to listen to these language tapes but this time try to get into a comfortable position and close your eyes. The second step will be to play the language tape with your closed eyes and listen to the voice as it accentuates the words. By doing this, you allow your brain to be really familiar with the new words. After listening to the language tapes with the privacy of your hotel you open the book that accompanies the language tapes and try to follow the voice in the tape recorder. I hope the language tape and book you got is of superb quality with easy to remember pictures and techniques. You should evaluate first the language tapes with the book before buying them and bringing them in your journey. Thus, language tapes made your learning French so easy and relaxing. And on the next day you explore Paris, France try practicing you French with no less than the native French as your audience.

Tapes are great as you can really do them anywhere – in the car, at home, relaxing on the beach….wherever you like! But be inventive too – organise a poker night playing Spain’s “juegos de casino“, spekaing in Spanish all night you’ll learn the lingo and win money! Or cook great French food and practise your French – activities like these fire your passion for the language and are certainly a lot more interesting than reading books! The best place to learn a language is in a place where it is spoken natively and so try and maximise your opportunity and multi-task – imagine taking part in a volunteer in Argentina programme whilst learning Spanish – both from your language tapes in your free time and from your fellow Argentinian volunteers or a sprachkurs in Germany whilst completing an internship…on your CV, both would definately make you stand out as a unique candidate for any job and personally you will return feeling like you have achieved something, not wasted the summer playing Nintendo!

Just think of all the advantages language learning can bring you: professionally you enjoy the choice of so many more jobs – not only in countries abroad but in the international companies of your own country too or teaching English as a foreign langauge (TEFL). Learning a language is also a great way to expand your social circle – so many more people, all of whom with similar interests – language learning! Not just in your personal life, these friends may come in useful too for your professional career in the furture; the more contacts you have the better! And, outside of your career, you’ll also see language learning helping you to reap benefits…your holidays will be so much more enriching! Of course, everybody is open to the same destinations but going to a destination and being able to mix with the locals makes all the difference! You will see a whole new side to the place you visit, not just the tourist patches. For example, capital and cosmopolitan cities are very popular for bachelor and hen parties but why limit yourself to Blackpool or London…places you could go any weekend…? This is a special occasion so why not take the Despedidas Soltera Madrid and make it an event to remember? Or play poker in Paris (practising beforehand of course in a casino en ligne) Language learning can help you do this and make your holidays all the more memorable (perhaps because you make new friends in the country itself!)
